Gigi Hadid Gets Cozy With Boyfriend Zayn Malik In Debut Single! Truly Moving On From Joe Jonas
Zayn Malik released his debut music video, "Pillowtalk," featuring the former One Direction singer getting hot and heavy with girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who proved once again that she's moving on from the Joe Jonas split.
"[The song is] pretty black and white," said Malik, as reported by Stuff.
"Everybody has sex, and it's something people wanna hear about. It's part of everybody's life, a very big part of life! And you don't wanna sweep it under the carpet. It has to be talked about," Malik added.
Malik's first single has already reached the top spot on iTunes.
"Pillowtalk" hints about the evolution of Gigi Hadid's boyfriend Zayn Malik music-wise, in contrast to the bubblegum pop that One Direction, alongside bandmates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, used to churn out.
Harpers Bazaar noted, "It was expected that Malik-now known as just ZAYN-would take a more mature approach post-One Direction, but he really proves it with a new electro-meets-R&B sound (think Justin Bieber's Purpose transformation) and suggestive lyrics (including an F-bomb in the chorus), topped with his already sultry vocals.
And the music video epitomizes the lyrics of "Pillowtalk" as it shows Victoria's Secret angel Gigi Hadid kissing and embracing boyfriend Zayn Malik, according to Vanity Fair.
Following the release of his first solo music video, Hadid and Malik, exchanged flirty messages on social media.
"What Would Beyonce Do," wrote Hadid, as reported in Business Standard.
"you seen the video babe? Someones looking," responded Malik, with the OK hand emoticon.
"@zaynmalik nah musta missed it Jokes.. I wasn't looking at myself, trust me," replied Hadid.
Gigi Hadid was first linked to boyfriend Zayn Malik in November last year, just weeks after the supermodel parted ways with Joe Jonas. For his part, the former One Direction member ended his engagement with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
