Darth Vader To Get More Brutal And Violent In 'Star Wars: Rogue One'

Following a massive success of "The Force Awakens" which premiered in mid December 2015, another movie entitled "Star Wars: Rogue" is set for release in December this year which is said to feature an appearance of Darth Vader.

Besides dropping details about the upcoming release of the live-action "Star Wars" film, what has been filling the headlines as of late are the talks about Darth Vader's appearance in "Rogue One."

While there have been very limited hints as to how Darth Vader will come into view, a set of reports claimed that the character will appear in "Star Wars: Rogue One" as more brutal.

"Darth Vader was kind of limited what he could do in the original trilogy given the comparatively paltry computer graphics trickery of the time," according to The Independent.

It added, "But it sounds like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will seem him ratchet up his tactics when it comes to his favourite pastime: crushing the rebel scum."

Moreover, it was said that a couple of high quality stunt-armor suits were made for Darth Vader, which was then followed with claims that the upcoming movie will have more violent action scenes than the character's previous "Star Wars" appearances.

As noted by MakingStarWars.com, it stated "showed decapitated rebels, people being dismembered by Vader throwing his sword, levitating bodies to make human shields, and so on."

"Rogue One"  is a movie created in between the film series' prequel trilogy and the original trigology that showcases a group of Rebel agents trying to take the plans for the Death Star which was shown in the original "Star Wars" film in 1997.

Prior to its production, director Gareth Edwards openly talked about the upcoming "Star Wars: Rogue One" and shared what were his inspirations in making the project.

"Black Hawk Down," "Zero Dark Thirty," and "Saving Private Ryan" were reportedly among his inspirations in making the latest "Star Wars" movie with a more violent approach, which fuelled reports that Darth Vader will have a bigger and more violent role than expected.
