'The Wallking Dead' Season 6 Mid-Season Premiere Opens With Daryl's Death? Deadly Confrontation To Happen

As the upcoming "The Walking Dead" season 6 mid season finale comes closer to its official premiere date, several spoilers have continued to make rounds in the social media claiming that two of the most well-embraced characters Daryl Dixon and Glenn will face death in the next episodes.

While nothing has been confirmed yet as to who among the characters will die in the succeeding chapters of "The Walking Dead" season 6, a new teaser trailer has just been dropped by AMC, seemingly dropping hints about the death of certain characters - including Daryl, played by Norman Reedus.

As noted  by Comic Book, the new teaser for the 9th episode titled "No Way Out" would be showcasing the aftermath of the previous episode. As shown in the short video snippet, Sasha Williams, played by Sonequa Martin, looks like she's negotiating with the Saviors while Abraham Ford and Daryl Dixon on the other hand were shown watching their enemies.

Besides dropping hints about the main characters, co-executive producer Robert Kirkman also hinted on Negan's role in the series as Rick's enemy.

"As far as shake-ups go, we have a lot of shake-ups from season to season," Kirkman said, as quoted in Fashion&Style. "It keeps things interesting, but Negan is kind of like an atomic bomb that's going to be dropped on the show and the show is never going to be the same after that."

One member from Negan's group was shown throwing some threats to Daryl and his friends, wherein he tells Daryl that they shoot people anytime they want to. He later puts his gun up and gets himself ready to shoot while Sasha is still begging for mercy.

Though the teaser trailer could mean that Daryl's death will be taking place anytime soon, some fans are still hopeful for the character to remain until the finale episode. "The Walking Dead" mid season premiere airs on February 14, Sunday at 10 PM on AMC.
