'Final Fantasy' 15 Release Date Confirmed; Video Game Set To Have Two Different Battle Modes

'Final Fantasy XV' Launch Date And PC Release Might Be Announced At Special Event In March

The 15th installment of hit role-playing video "Final Fantasy" has already been confirmed and is already set for release anytime this year. While there has been no specific details revealed about its official release date, game director Hajime Tabata hinted that the gamers would only have to wait until March.

"This year is the year we'll release Final Fantasy XV," said Tabata, as quoted in Express. "We'll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March."

Following the confirmation of the release, various reports immediately made rounds in the headlines claiming that "Final Fantasy" 15 is going to be a lot more challenging compared to its previous installments. 

Reports claimed that the new gameplay comes into view with a more active battle features than the last versions. Moreover, the combats in the new "Final Fantasy" franchise will be taking place in a powerful 3D system, wherein gamers can freely run and jump.

Besides dropping hints about its special features, it was also said that the game will have magic attacks and gamers can manipulate a series of elements. The video graphics in "Final Fantasy" 15 has also been described to be tighter and will come into view with a dynamic weather environment.

While the official release date is still yet to be announced, it seems like the fans are getting some bonus treat before their favorite game's release.

Square Enix has announced the next active livestream which will take place on January 30, wherein both the game and marketing directors Hajime Tabata and Akio Ofuji will be attending to the big event.

As noted by the lead game designer Takizawa Masahi, "Final Fantasy" 15 will be featuring two different battle modes which gamers can choose from. He said that the first one is for the action-oriented gamers while the other one is made for players who prefer a more relaxed battle style.

"The equivalent to difficulty level settings in FFXV is a system where you can switch between different battle modes." he said. "By having this ability to switch modes, we want to make it so that both players who like action oriented, technical gameplay and also those who want to fight at a slower, more relaxed paced cann all enjoy the combat in their own style."

"Final Fantasy" 15 is still currently in the works for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Reports added that more news about the release date will be revealed when the event takes place in March.
