‘Fifty Shades Darker’ News: Jamie Dornan’s Wife Caused Filming Delay? Smaller Budget, Bad Sign?
Latest "Fifty Shades Darker" news reports claimed that filming has been delayed once again, and this time, the possible reason could be Jamie Dornan's wife, whom he is expecting another baby with.
It was learned that the production for the second installment of the trilogy in Vancouver, Canada was supposed to start during the early part of February. However, the 33-year-old actor's "personal life" has reportedly caused its postponement, according to Master Herald.
It was clarified, though, that "there have not been any official reports from the studio" when it comes to these speculations.
The outlet relayed that despite the fact that a filming delay is expected and that "it was moved out again," fans might be relieved to know that it will just be "one week this time around."
"If nothing else stops the filming process, it looks like it will be on schedule to start on the fifteenth of next month," Master Herald shared in its news report about Jamie Dornan's upcoming film "Fifty Shades Darker."
With the rumored reason behind the delay, the site noted that "Most would assume that when someone's personal life gets in the way of a movie as big as 'Fifty Shades Darker,' that it is likely a bad thing."
It can be recalled that the first delay took place when the director of the first installment left them "because he was not on the same page as the author E.L. James."
On the other hand, Melty reported that the budget allocated for the second film is smaller as compared to that of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Accordingly, the previous production budget was pegged at $40 million, while the second one will have "over $20 million." There was no mention, though, of how much "over" it actually pertains to.
"Do you think it's a bad sign that the production budget of 'Fifty Shades Darker' is smaller than 'Fifty Shades of Grey's'?" the site raised about the anticipated project of Jamie Dornan.
