Nintendo Gurantees 'Legend Of Zelda' Wii U Release Date In 2016; Leaked Promotional Video Signals Game May Arrive Soon

Last year was supposedly the release of "Legend of Zelda" Wii U, but due to unrevealed reasons, the launch date was pushed in 2016. However, a leaked new promotional video signals that Nintendo is going to bring the game in 2016.

According to Movie Pilot, the first game in the series is to be made with HD graphics and it will be enclosed in the biggest map ever seen in the game. The dungeon explorer will move closer towards being visualized as a real-world game, made possible by the advanced capabilities of Wii U system.

 "The Legend of Zelda" producer Eiji Aonuma said that the series have always involved in exploring open-world areas and navigating dungeons, but, this upcoming installment will be likely be situated in unique scope.

"A huge, seamlessly unfolding world is something that can't be achieved if the hardware isn't advanced enough. Ever since we made the very first generation of Legend of Zelda games though, we've had as large a world as can be realized with the hardware, so you could say it was inevitable that we've known at the same with the new Wii U title."

As reported by Gamer Professionals, Nintendo is preparing for a big announcement come 2016. According to the site, the company has already "created a promotional video for the upcoming title for the Wii U, which is meant to impact parents for a "big event." In the beginning of 2015, Nintendo said that "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U was not scheduled for release, but now they have guaranteed the release in 2016.

The site added that the promotional video was apparently designed to cater both old and new generations of players, is entitled "First Draft."

As of the moment, fans of the series are waiting for the official updates from Nintendo regarding "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U as it is set for a release date sometime in 2016.
