‘Rocket League’ PS4 And Xbox One Free Update In February; Players To Receive Top Tier Rewards
"Rocket League" fans were ecstatic to hear that the acclaimed gaming publisher Psyonix will be treating its fans to another free update this year.
According to VG 24/7 fans and players of the titular video game "Rocket League" will be receiving a free update on their PS4 and Xbox One this February.
The source noted that the free update on the PS4 and Xbox One will give out rewards to its competitive participants and that it will introduce to its fanbase a few top tiered item drops.
It was detailed that all Ranked Play participants who were able to attain a minimum of Bronze Division and those of higher ranks will be able to garner for themselves rewards that may include limited edition crown toppers in bronze, silver, gold and platinum variants when the season culminates, Steam Community explained.
It was reported that the free update of "Rocket League" for PS4 and Xbox One will enable users to use the limited edition crown toppers on their battle-cars, Express UK claimed.
Moreover, the source pointed out the free update will also include three qualities based on current in-game items, Common (Grey) stock items, Premium (Green) items acquired from paid DLCs, Limited (Orange) items acquired in seasonal or limited time promotional events like Halloween and the upcoming inclusion of Uncommon (Light Blue) items acquired after finishing online-only matches inclusive of all-new Antennas and Toppers.
The gaming publisher Psyonix also explained to provide more details on the new class that fans can expect from the free update.
"One interesting thing to note is that the new 'Uncommon Item's' drop-rate won't have a fixed percentage like the seasonal items do," the publisher stated courtesy of Express UK. "Instead, your chances of getting an 'Uncommon Item' increases the longer you play the game."
"After earning Uncommon items, the time then resets and you start all over again in your quest to get another one. This should give players who spend a lot of time playing some sweet new loot to accompany them along the way."
