'Pitch Perfect 3' Cast, News: Hailee Steinfeld To Overthrow Anna Kendrick From Barden Bella? Fat Amy, Bumper Wedding Confirmed

The latest in "Pitch Perfect 3" cast claims that Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy will walk down the aisle with Adam Levine's Bumper in the third installment.

According to Breathecast, the potential "Pitch Perfect" wedding is fast becoming one of the biggest rumors regarding the film's cast. As per the report, the upcoming installment is also said to explore Fat Amy's backstory and feature what she used to be before she joined the Barden Bellas.

While fans would love to see the couple tie the knot along with The Troublemakers and The Barden Bellas, it is still uncertain if Fat Amy and Bumper are still together after graduating college.

Meanwhile, rumors are circulating that Anna Kendrick's Beca will be replaced by Hailee Steinfeld's Emily as the new Queen Bee of the beloved a cappella group. 

Steinfeld, 19, is rumored to lead a new generation of Barden Bellas in the upcoming film and become the franchise's future.

But don't expect Kendrick's Beca to take this one lying down. According to The Christian Post, the former Queen Bee is rumored to establish her own group outside the university and "explore other international competitions to prove that she can be successful outside the realm of college."

Apart from the aforementioned actors, "Pitch Perfect 3's" cast will also feature Anna Camp as Aubrey, Ester Dean as Cynthia Rose, Hana Mae Lee as Lily, Brittany Snow as Chloe, Alexis Knapp as Stacie, Ben Platt, John Michael Higgins as John, Skylar Astin as Jesse and Elizabeth Banks as Gail.

Banks also returns as the third installment's director and producer, along with Brownstone Productions' Alex Handelman and Gold Circle Entertainment's Paul Brooks.

"Pitch Perfect" is based on Mickey Rapkin's novel "Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory.

"Pitch Perfect 3" premieres in theaters on Aug. 7, 2017.
