Lexus LC 500 Coupe Unveiled! Release Date Announced As Company Officials Speak Up

Lexus LC 500 was debuted at the North American International Auto Show 2012. Now four years after, the production version follows. 

As fans are saying, the company has been making a few of the most popular luxury cars with exciting new models that have great style and dynamics. Company officials believe that it might be a $100,000 luxury Sports Coupe that might get sold in few numbers. But it's Importance to Lexus and parent Toyota goes way beyond the sales number.

The chief Branding officer and master driver for the company, Akio Toyoda, has been at the center of Lexus Global Expansion, driving a heightened level of collaboration among engineering, design and marketing teams to help create a brand of luxury that suits the needs of the next generation of consumers. "The LC 500 has been an important product for Lexus and me personally," he said.

"A few years ago, we decided to guide the future of the brand with products that had more passion and distinction in the luxury market," he added, as cited by Dispatch Tribunal. "This flagship luxury coupe's proportions, stunning design and performance make a strong statement about our brand's emotional direction and will grow the Lexus luxury appeal globally."

As a testament to what can be attained via a symbiosis of design and engineering teams, the LC 500 was lead by a design-led vision. The company's chief engineer, Koji Sato has worked  to find new solutions that would let the production to retain as many aspects as possible.

He said "I feel we achieved something greater than simply preserving the spirit of the concept's design."

And according to chief designer Tadao Mori, At an early stage, the designers worked with the engineers to understand their vision for the LC 500's driving dynamics, and they incorporated this into the design. For example, we gave serious consideration to where the driver's eyes would focus and designed the surfacing in that area to help support the driver's mindset,"

"This was one of the first projects where designers were closely involved in the dynamic engineering development, so we could understand the driving goals and support them with car's design", Cited Luxury London.

The Lexus LC 500 is the first to use the brand's new premium luxury platform and is part of new corporate global architechture for luxury vehicles.There isn't any official news about the availability or release date yet, but it is expected soon.
