‘Gravity Falls’ Finale To Reveal Bill’s ‘True Motives’; New Show To Follow ‘Weirdmageddon 3’

As "Gravity Falls" finale comes on Feb. 15 on Disney XD, recent spoilers revealed that an interesting scene is about to happen.

Based on the synopsis of the cartoon series' final episode, it was learned that a sacrifice is bound to happen, particularly in the lives of the Pines family, shared the International Business Times.

"Ford discovers Bill's true motives and then a final confrontation with Bill leads to the Pines family's ultimate fate and greatest sacrifice," the "Gravity Falls" finale synopsis disclosed.

The outlet further narrated that "In season 2 episode 20 titled 'Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls,' Dipper and Mabel Pines will fight evil alien Bill, who has taken over their Falls."

As the final showdown is set to unfold next month, the report pointed out as well that "The action packed finale of 'Gravity Falls' will find Dipper and Mabel trying to defeat Bill with the help of a few friends."

"But with his powers growing stronger, Bill may finally rule the world and end Gravity Falls as we know," it added.

In the meantime, the Inquisitr reported that in his Twitter account, "Gravity Falls" creator Alex Hirsch disclosed that he is indeed leaving the show behind.

"Well, my ride is here. Goodbye 'Gravity Falls'! I'm headin' somewhere new," the showrunner wrote on Saturday, something that hinted about the show's finale and the new project that he is going handle.

Prior to such post, Hirsch also tweeted on Jan. 7 that "The rumors are true! I'm cooking up some new strange projects for some new strange places. 2016 is gonna be a crazy year buddies."

Meanwhile, "Gravity Falls" artist Dana Terrace announced that despite being excited for the new Disney series, she can never deny the fact that she is going to miss sketching Mabel and Dipper.

"Got an exciting new job but I still miss drawing these dudes," she posted on Twitter relative to the "Gravity Falls" season 2 finale which is also called "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back The Falls."
