Play Music, Take Calls With New Asus ZenWatch 2 Hidden Speakers

Huawei recently launched its latest Asus ZenWatch 2 with much fanfare along with Moto 360 Gen 2 and LG Urbane 2.

However, Android fan and Google+ user David Sears seemed to have tinkered with the internal parts of the watch. He discovered the unused hidden speakers inside the watch which he revealed to Google community online, said Ausdroid.

Modern day components have made it possible for smartphones and other gadgets to be extremely thin and encompass smallest of devices that can maximize the features of the gadgets.

According to Android Headlines, experts believe that designers and engineers of the latest Asus ZenWatch 2 would not include an unnecessary part. 

Thus, the technology experts believe that the untapped speaker inside the new Asus Zenwatch 2 will soon have a Google update to be released that will enable the existing hardware and the Android platform will be able to utilise the unused hardware.

The most probable use for the speakers to be incorporated for the future use will be for taking calls, playing music or voiced otifications.

Google has been known for releasing updates for its devices or platforms every three months. Thus, a new update in 2016 looks most likely, 9to5google.com noted.

Last year, Google had already pushed its Android Wear updates to enable WiFi to most of its released wearable devices.

LG also launched its Urbane 2 smartwatch along with the new Asus ZenWatch 2 with hardware support for LTE.

Google+ user also noticed that the second-generation Moto 360 lacked these hidden speakers when the device was torn down. However, the same could not be confirmed, Android Headlines reported.

Most Android users with the new Asus ZenWatch 2 now await the latest update on their software to see if the speakers will finally be supported in their smartwatch.
