Patrick Dempsey News: Actor Holds On To Estranged Wife After Ellen Pompeo Feud, 'Grey's Anatomy' Exit

The "Grey's Anatomy" exit might have been the biggest blow on Patrick Dempsey's entertainment career. And according to news rumors, the actor might have been leaning on her estranged wife, Jillian, for support over the past couple of months.
It could be recounted that right after his departure from the hit TV series, it has been rumored that Dempsey was involved in his former co-star Ellen Pompeo.
Though both camps didn't confirm nor deny the news about their alleged feud, Pompeo's statement about how "Grey's Anatomy" would fair in ratings without Patrick Dempsey sparked speculations among fans.
"It's like, Annalise Keating carries the show, Olivia Pope carries the show," Ellen Pompeo previously told Entertainment Weekly. "But somehow, Meredith Grey needs someone."
Ellen Pompeo referred to the other two Shonda Rhimes shows in the TGIT (Thank God It's Thursday) block - Annalise Keating, played by Viola Davis, on "How to Get Away With Murder," and Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, in "Scandal."
Amid news about his feud with Pompeo, it seems that Dempsey has been spending more and more time with his estranged wife.
"Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian arrived back in L.A. Friday, and all signs point to reconciliation," TMZ reported about the former "Grey's Anatomy" star.
"Jilian filed for divorce a year ago, but the divorce case has been stagnant and in recent months they've been together a lot ... most recently Tuesday at Marie Claire's Image Maker Awards."
Jilian also reportedly wished Patrick Dempsey a happy birthday on social media.
"Along with a photo of the pair flashing big smiles and rocking hard hats, she wrote, "Happy 5 '0'!!! @patrickdempsey xxx," E! Online reported.
Patrick Dempsey's camp is yet to comment on rumors that he might be getting back with his estranged wife.
