Meek Mill And Drake Feud: Nicki Minaj's Beau Releases Diss Track Vs '6 God' Singer Despite Kevin Hart's Advice
Six months after their feud began, Meek Mill yet again released a diss track targeting Drake.
Nicki Minaj's boyfriend took a dig at Canadian rapper by dropping "I'm Da Plug Freestyle" from his EP "4/4" on his SoundCloud page on Saturday.
The feud between Meek Mill and Drake started last year following the former's accusation that the Canadian rapper employed a ghostwriter to pen down his songs.
"Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman," goes Mill's song aimed at Drake. "Ain't nobody nobody tell 'em this ain't what they want, man / You ain't really write it, I'm like 'who's your stuntman?'" according to International Business Times.
It is alleged that Meek Mill rushed his diss track's release since Drake's new album "Views From the 6" would be out anytime, positively in couple more hours or so, noted Los Angeles Times.
The hip-hop artist dropped a diss song "Wanna Know" around the start of their lyric war which he soon reverted back since his fans weren't happy with it. However, "I'm Da Plug Freestyle" seems to be better than the previous song although it dropped months after the feud actually began.
Meanwhile, actor-comedian Kevin Hart, who claims to be friends with Meek Mill and Drake, noted in an interview that he advised the duo to draw an end to their feud for good.
"That was my thing with Meek," Hart said, reported International Business Times. "Look, at the end of the day, you're Meek Mill now. That name holds a certain level of respect."
"People support what you've built. People buy your albums. Get back to getting in the studio and let [the beef] go," Hart reportedly advised Mill.
"Get back to being Drake the superstar," Hart allegedly told Drake. "This can't last that long and go back and forth. That's where I come in as a friend ... If you're a real friend that's what you do."
"You don't support the negative banter between the two for too long," Hart added.
