‘The 100’ Season 3 Spoilers: New Group Joins To Bring Internal Conflict As It Premieres Jan. 21

Recent spoilers of "The 100" season 3, which is set to premiere on Jan. 21, have hinted about the coming of a new group that is bound to bring about more "internal conflict."

According to Jason Rothenberg, executive producer of the CW TV series, internal conflict is expected as the show digs deeper into where it all started out.

"This season we get to a pure version of where the show started," Rothenberg revealed during an interview with Variety. "There is internal conflict at Camp Jaha - what was formerly known as Camp Jaha - and there's a new group that comes in and really mixes things up and creates a lot of conflict internally." 

"And we tell a lot of the story in Polis this season," he added while further disclosing that "political upheaval is also in the air" of "The 100" season 3.

Meanwhile, Alycia Debnam-Carey, who plays Lexa, the leader of the Grounder city Polis, shared about her favorite part of the upcoming season.

"My favorite part of season 3 is the fact that we do get to explore the world of the Grounders - their politics, their culture, their spiritual history and how it's changed and how they adapted things from what the world used to be," "The 100" guest star stated.

In a nutshell, the outlet pointed out that "The show's mix of action, moral quandaries and difficult choices will continue to lead to dark moments and wrenching scenes."

On the other hand, Buddy TV reported that Richard Harmon's character, John Murphy, "is still living it up in the luxurious bunker."

"He starts off right where we left him-- right in the bunker," the actor told the site. "He's watching the video and he's going to be curious to see what else comes from that."
