Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed Still No Family Plans; Will This Be The Same With Nina Dobrev Before?

In a few months, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed will be celebrating their first year anniversary as husband and wife. And according to a report, the honeymoon phase could have ended for the two.

An insider revealed that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are allegedly fighting over whether or not tohave a child.

"A source recently divulged to OK! that Ian Somerhalder absolutely wants to be a dad," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "However, the actor respects Nikki Reed's desire to focus on her career right now."

According to the report, Nikki Reed does want to have kids, but she may not want to have them right away, especially now that she may want to prove herself in the entertainment industry.

"[Ian] is mature enough to know there's give and take in marriage. [Somerhalder] will keep asking until he gets a yes!" an insider purportedly dished out to OK! Magazine, as quoted by CDL.

It has been previously reported that "The Vampire Diaries" actor is very eager to have a baby soon.

"It's the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something," Ian Somerhalder previously told Entertainment Tonight. "It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world -- but I really can't wait to do it and really just love it."

It has been speculated before that the reason behind Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's breakup is because Dobrev wasn't ready to settle down yet.

Is Somerhalder somehow finding the situation he's in right now a deja vu of his former problems with Dobrev?
