'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Daryl Dixon To Die In The Next Episode? Negan May Not Be The Biggest Threat

As the mid season finale of "The Walking Dead" season 6 comes closer to the premiere date, there have been several spoilers making rounds in social media about what might be in store in the characters as the new chapter takes place. 

According to the new spoilers, Negan, played by Jeffrey Dead Morgan, who leads a group called the "Saviors," may not be the worst enemy to appear in the upcoming episode.

Following the release of the mid season teaser trailer in late November last year, wherein the Saviors were shown pointing their guns to Daryl Dixon and his friends, it has since been speculated that Negan's arrival is the biggest threat to Rick's group in the next episode.

While fans think that Negan as Rick's worst enemy is exactly what the trailer means, show producer Scott Gimple has recently hinted that the biggest danger may not be brought by Negan, according to Cinema Blend.

"Some of the scariest peple in the back half of the season are our people." said Gimple. "These characters are at their strongest right now, but the problem is, the threats of the world are also at the strongest. We'll see these immovable objects meet."

Speaking of the biggest danger, a lot of characters have been speculated to die in the succeeding episodes of the mid season finale and Norman Reedus' character Daryl Dixon is one of them. 

Daryl Dixon's possible death is the most talked about, with fans debating about who among the well-embraced "The Walking Dead" characters will die in the next episode. Will it be Daryl or Glenn?

Though the spoilers suggested that Daryl Dixon is not the only character to face death, majority of "The Walking Dead" fans are already enraged after hearing of rumors that their favorite character will be in great danger in the upcoming TWD chapter.

"If you read the comic book, you know we're climbing towards a major death," said executive producer Greg Nicotero, as quoted in Comic Book, which is in reference to Steven Yeun's character Glenn who was originally killed in the comics.

Whether or not Daryl Dixon will be killed in the next episode still remains a hanging question; and fans are already on the lookout as to who will make Rick and his friends doomed to fail. "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns on February 14, Sunday on AMC.
