Meek Mill, Drake Feud: Rapper’s New Album Contains Has No Diss Song For Nicki Minaj’s Beau?
The lyric war going on between hip-hop recording artist Meek Mill and rapper Drake might have a new development. With Serena Williams' once rumored boyfriend's most anticipated new album, "Views From The 6," expected to be released this January, it is speculated that it will contain a diss song for Nicki Minaj's beau.
Meek Mill and Drake's feud started last year, which allegedly began when the former had written a song containing allegations against the latter.
The highly publicized conflict of 2015 seems to have carried on this new year. While Meek Mill recently dissed Drake during a party in Philadelphia, the "Back to Back" rapper is rumored to be all set to get back at him via his new album.
But according to an unnamed source, Drake's new album might not be a vehicle for a Meek Mill diss track.
"After a point you realize that it's not even worth it so at this moment that song is in the archive," noted a source according to KpopStarz. "I don't know if it will ever be released but I don't see him dropping that joint anytime soon and it's very dope. I can confidently say that it would end Meek for good. There would be no coming back if this track had gotten out."
Drake revealed the title of his fourth album way back in July 2014.
The announcement led to speculations that he was set to unveil the album on that same year, but 2014 and 2015 ended without news as to its actual release date.
However, during his New Year's Eve perfomance, Drake announced to the crowd that his new album "Views From The 6" is coming "very soon," Music Times noted.
With the anticipation on a high, Drake teased his fans a bit more when he gave out hints regarding the new album's release date.
"Earlier this month, Drake gave out clues about his highly anticipated album by posting several photos from his New Year's Eve party all captioned with the number 16. Following his cryptic post, some fans believe that the rapper teased a Jan. 16, 2016, release date," IB Times reported.
