Whatever popularity that Rihanna is enjoying right now, she reportedly owes it to Beyoncé, something that may debunk the circulating feud rumors.

Based on the report of Vanity Fair, the upcoming memoir of music executive L.A. Reid, titled "Sing to Me: My Story of Making Music, Finding Magic, and Searching for Who's Next," has just revealed it.

Accordingly, it was the 34-year-old wife of Jay Z who saw the potential in the 27-year-old "Love the Way You Lie" singer.

It was reported that Reid used to believe that it was Teairra Mari who had more potential, and this belief was only changed when Beyoncé approached him to convince him that Rihanna is the one will make it big in the industry.

"Beyoncé came up to me," the music executive wrote. "'That Rihanna girl,' she said, 'she's a beast.'"

Meanwhile, Reid recounted that he "first laid eyes on her in the hallway."

"I didn't know she was a singer or anything, just a pretty girl standing outside somebody's office," he recalled.

With Beyonce's reported contribution to Rihanna's successful career, amid the feud rumors, Billboard raised a rhetorical question, "can someone ask Beyoncé to get involved in getting 'Anti' released already???"

In the meantime, Entertainment Tonight disclosed that Beyoncé will be performing with Coldplay at the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show on Feb. 7.

"Presumably, the group will deliver a live rendition of "Hymn for the Weekend," which is featured on their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, and features vocals from Bey," the report shared.

While Queen Bey could be very busy now with her preparations for her upcoming Super Bowl show, fans of the "Umbrella" singer are anticipating the release date of her "Anti" album.

Urban Islandz reported that her newest album features 23 tracks and some collaborations with J. Cole, Drake, Travis Scott, Kanye West and Paul McCartney.

With these latest developments, do you think that the feud rumors between Rihanna and Beyoncé are nothing but lies?
