Carrie Underwood's husband is reportedly getting into music. According to a report from Wide Open Country, NHL player Mike Fisher was invited to have a collaboration with country star Garth Brooks.

After an Instagram video of Fisher singing to the 1992 hit "The River," got uploaded by his wife, the song's original singer was quick to take notice.

"Bro, that is AWESOME!" Garth Brooks captioned the re-posted singing clip. "I have to call you out after that."

The music veteran then asked the Nashville Predators player to come on board his concert.

"Nashville is the last city on the American leg of the World Tour," Garth Brooks said. "You and me, on stage, The River. You in?"

Underwood was first to respond that Mike Fisher "is in" with Garth Brooks' invitation. The father-of-one replied by himself later on.

"Heck yeah buddy let's do it!" Mike Fisher commented under his singing video.

While Carrie Underwood and her husband seem to be on the same page regarding him getting into music, the two were rumored to be having problems late last year. An insider revealed to Life and Style magazine the "Smoke Break" singer allegedly does not agree to Mike Fisher's plans to have a second baby.

"Mike is very old-fashioned," the insider said. "He wants a lot of kids."

"Mike wants their children to grow up close in age; it just feels more like family to him," the insider added. The couple has a one-year-old son named Isaiah Fisher.

The former "American Idol" champion was also criticized for bragging about her marriage at the height of country stars' Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's divorce last year.

"Everyone is getting divorced," Underwood said in her December 2015 cover story for Cosmopolitan. "They're dropping like flies!"

"But we are good," the 32-year-old said about her relationship with her husband.

Us Weekly reported about the feature, causing readers to accuse Carrie Underwood of being too cocky about her relationship with her husband. "'Dropping like flies?'" one reader said. "Sounds a little arrogant and judgmental."
