Miranda Lambert is proving to be a very caring girlfriend, and showing Blake Shelton just what he's missing.

The country singer, who announced her divorce from "The Voice" judge in July last year, was there for boyfriend Anderson East who was injured in a skiing accident.

Miranda Lambert and boyfriend Anderson East celebrated their New Year together in Aspen. During their vacation, the musician allegedly suffered an injury while skiing in the Aspen slopes.

The 32-year-old star is said to have remained at his bedside and cared for her newly found love, according to US Weekly.

"It was a nasty fall but Miranda was there and helped him heal, took him to get treated," an insider tells Us Weekly of the unfortunate incident. "So it wasn't quite the fun holiday trip they wanted, but they were still happy to be together and he's really happy she was there nursing him by his side and making sure he was OK."

The source also noted that Anderson East suffered terrible pain after the accident and got back home for rest.

"He's been in a lot of pain but [is] going to rest and heal up now that they're back home," the source added, reported Business Standards. "It was still great to be together, happy and in love over the holidays despite the accident, and they are looking forward to a good new year together."

Though Miranda Lambert and boyfriend Anderson East have been dating for couple of months now, Lambert went public about their relationship just a week ago. She posted a photo of the couple on Instagram on the New Year day and captioned it as "The snuggle is real... @andersoneast," noted UPI.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton parted ways in July and their divorce was finalized soon after. "The Voice" coach has moved on to date Gwen Stefani, the former No Doubt singer who is also his co-mentor in the singing competition.
