Lindsay Lohan news reported new topless photos uploaded by the actress on Instagram. Yibada reported about the images, wherein the "Mean Girls" star said that she is "cleansing" herself.
The snapshots were taken during the 29-year-old's New Year vacation in Costa Rica. Other pictures taken during the getaway showed her fishing and swimming in a volcano.
However, it was the cleansing ritual photos of Lindsay Lohan while topless that caught the attention of her over four million Instagram followers.
"A redheads cleanse freckles and all #InThisYearLoveYourself #beproductive #sportReverything #mudcleanse in a boiling hot volcano!" she wrote alongside the first image, which showed her covered in mud while posing against a wall to cover her nipples.
Another photo seemed to have been taken after the cleansing rite, with Lindsay Lohan making funny faces beside a male friend while still not wearing a top. "Yes, volcanic mud to clear always the negativity," she captioned the shot.
Lindsay Lohan also recently made news for another photo from her Costa Rica vacation. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the controversial actress posed seductively in a topless Instagram photo with a man seemingly kissing her bare back.
Since the bottom part of the man's face is not visible in the snapshot, his dark hair and full eyebrows led some followers to speculate if the mystery male is Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama.
Aside from the "That 70s Show" cast member, others commented that the male kissing Lindsay Lohan in the photo could also be "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality star Rob Kardashian or "Superbad" actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
The former Disney star's persistent racy Instagram photos have led some of her fans to doubt if she is indeed ready to behave herself and make a career comeback. Lindsay Lohan has constantly been making news for allegedly wanting to get back in show business again, with Radar Online reporting last year that the once-troubled celebrity is eager to start acting again.
