'Expendables 4' Movie Release Date And Casting News: 'Expendables 4' could earn the title of the most expensive movie in the series. Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Pierce Brosnan, Hulk Hogan and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are already officially cast for "The Expendables 4." Steve Austin is also rumored to be joining the cast.

It's been over a year since the disappointing box office results of "Expendables 3." Sylvester Stallone, who won't be in the proposed Rambo: New Blood TV series for Fox, blamed the PG rating for the drop-off, but according to reports, he is not going to make the same mistakes with "Expendables 4."

The next installment of the franchise has a release date all set. "The Expendables 4" production will start this year and is expected to hit cinemas in 2017 although no official announcement has been made by the studio or Stallone, who is behind the film.

"The Expendables 4" is creating buzz throughout the Internet since it was announced that Hulk Hogan would be taking part as a main villain in the movie. The estimated budget for "The Expendables 4" is $100 million. "The Expendables 2" had a budget of $92 million.

There has been many rumors about the casting, including the additions of Bollywood star Salman Khan and Jackie Chan to go up against villains played by former wrestlers Dwayne Johnson and Hulk Hogan. But both Chan and the Bollywood superhero rejected the offer.

The Christian Post reported that  Hogan's character in "The Expendables 4" is going to be world's most evil man.

Some thought the aging action hero franchise might have come to an end. Variety reported that the next Expendables installment will start filming next year and will hit theaters in 2017.
