Julia Stiles Engaged to Actor Preston J. Cook

Julia Stiles announced her engagement on Monday to actor and camera assistant. Preston J. Cook, letting fans know the proposal took place more than a week ago.
A rep for Julia Stiles confirmed the actress's engagement to People magazine.

Stiles, known for her roles in films like the Bourne series and Out of the Dark, shared a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram, with the caption: "Best Christmas Ever!"

Julia Stiles and Preston Cook first met on the set of her newest thriller movie the 2015 film, "Go with Me," which is reportedly scheduled to hit theaters in April.Stiles' first film role was in I Love You, I Love You Not (1996), with Claire Danes and Jude Law

There has been no schedule for the wedding yet.

The actress is also reprising her role in the latest installment in the Bourne franchise. She first gained prominence for her lead roles in teen films such as 10 Things I Hate About You (1999) for which she won MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance, Down to You (2000) and Save the Last Dance (2001) winning the Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress. Her career progressed to starring in films such as The Business of Strangers (2001), Mona Lisa Smile (2003) and The Omen (2006).

Stiles guest starred as Lumen Pierce in the fifth season of the Showtime series Dexter (2010), a role that earned her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Most recently, Stiles had a supporting role in Silver Linings Playbook (2012), and also appears in Blue, a web series from WIGS (2012-present). Other film roles include romantic comedy The Prince and Me (2004), noir-inspired drama-thriller A Little Trip to Heaven (2005), British-Canadian co-production The Cry of the Owl (2009), Between Us (2012) and Out of the Dark (2014)..
