Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lawrence New Comedy Movie Script Done? Official Statement Released!

Jennifer Lawrence recently announced in an interview that she and comedian Amy Schumer were done writing the script for their new comedy movie.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music, Lauren Laverne, "The Hunger Games" actress, said that, "We have an official first draft," according to NME.com.

"I am going to try and fit it somewhere into my ghoulish schedule, and we're gonna try to do that pretty soon," she added.

Meanwhile, the actress pointed out that a comedy material will only be labeled good once the audience gets to laugh out loud because of it.

"So I'm laughing at my pages and I'm laughing at her pages and thinking that the whole process is hilarious," she said according to Just Jared. "I'm thinking we've got a pretty funny, good movie."

Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence will play as sisters with opposing personalities in the upcoming film.

"It's her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant," Lawrence stated, according to Telegraph.co.uk. "She works at the airport. And I'm a MESS."

The actress also revealed that at the time when she first watched her fellow scriptwriter's film titled "Trainwreck," it proved that they "were made for each other."

It was reported that after that incident, she made connections and everything just followed.

Along with her announcement and update about their new film, she also shared some details about her recent project "Joy" where she played the role of Miracle Mop entrepreneur, Joy Mangano.

Accordingly, she finds the role "really inspiring" considering the struggles Mangano faced as a woman.

"She had so many incredible stories, that you wouldn't believe were true," according to Telegraph.co.uk.
