Charlize Theron And Sean Penn Relationship: Former Couple Stilll Hooking Up? Actress Rumored Secretly Dating Jake Gyllenhaal

Former couple Charlize Theron and Sean Penn, who had officially called it quits earlier last year, have been recently rumored still hooking up secretly following their split up. 

According to In Touch Weekly, rumor has it that the 40-year old "Mad Max" actress is still seeing Penn under the radar. A source claimed that Theron knew there was no long-term potential with regards to her relationship with Penn and their sex life was the reason why the exes have continued to hook up.

"Their sex life was the glue keeping them together." a source revealed. "They want to keep it under the radar. It's about convenience. They're comfortable with each other."

Not too long after the rumors about Theron and Penn secretly dating made headlines, new hearsays claimed that the blonde beauty is also building some romantic relationship with "Southpaw" actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

The dating rumors first sparked when Theron was reportedly spotted with Gyllanhaal in a sushi restaurant situated in Los Angeles, two months after she called off her engagement to Penn, Hollywood Life reported. Though none of them confirmed the claims, the alleged meet up fuelled rumors about their seemingly more-than-friends relationship.

One onlooker told OK! magazine that the "chemistry" between Theron and Gyllanhaal was undeniable and the actor "was touching her hand and smiling, making her laugh." 

Moreover, rumor also has it that the meet up turned out to be a special one for the two, with one source saying "there's always been in attraction, but the timing was never right. The romance is fresh, but they are having a blast so far."

None of the dating rumors have been confirmed and the stars have never commented on the issue. However, Gyllanhaal and Penn have been frequently compared as of late following the rumors with one source describing Gyllanhaal as "gentle, thoughtful, and kind."

Charlize Theron and Sean Penn dated in 2014 and had reportedly split up in late June 2015.
