Assassin's Creed Release Date: There are rumors that the next Assassin's Creed installment won't launch until 2017.

Ubisoft has released at least one big new Assassin's Creed game every fall for the past six years, but will reportedly be  Skipping 2016 As Part of Possible Series Slowdown. The publisher could skip fall for the first time since 2009, according to a new online rumor.

"Assassin's Creed: Unity" was released last November. Ubisoft decided to delay Empire from fall 2016 after 2014's disappointing Unity. This would give Ubisoft's development team time to improve and polish the game. Ubisoft released two major Assassin's Creed games, Unity and Rogue, on the same day.

The new games will take gamers through space and time, to China, India, and Russia. Each of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games will be availablefor PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

There were reports that Assassin's Creed: India is scheduled to debut on January 12 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PC and on February 9Xbox One. Gamers will take on the role of killing machine Arbaaz Mir from the Assassin's Creed: Brahman comics, in order to retrieve a stolen Assassin artifact from the Templars in 1841.

Ubisoft added close, short-knives and bare fist combat to the fighting play, as it takes place in the Industrial Revolution. The Syndicate will also have a launcher as a weapon like in the Arkham series. The line launcher can scale buildings.  The latest installment will feature new and enhanced abilities such as the ability to ride and hijack coaches.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate looks to be a the most innovative game in the Assassin's Creed offerings. It is reported to have a lighter tone. Ubisoft is placing Assassin's Creed Syndicate in Victorian London.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles India has been delayed a couple of times, but it is finally releasing in January. The Assassin's Creed Syndicate Jack the Ripper DLC dropped on Dec. 15. Ubisoft is considering updating future games in the Assassin's Creed franchise with a new modern day protagonist.

Ubisoft announced ealier this year that it plans to release a whole trilogy of Assassin's Creed Chronicles games in 2015.

The new games will take gamers through space and time, to China, India, and Russia. Each of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games will be available for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
