Five British men accused of spying were executed by the Islamic State as shown in a propaganda video released by the group Sunday. The Islamic State also sent a warning to British Prime Minister David Cameron.

"This is a message to David Cameron," a man with British accent said in the video, as noted by IB Times Sunday. "How strange it is that a leader of a small island threatens us with a handful of planes."

The video showed five men in orange jumpsuits kneeling before five masked armed men. The former, who were branded as "British spies" by the terrorist group, were shot dead after delivering their confessions in Arabic.

"One would have thought you would have learnt the lessons from your pathetic master in Washington and his failed campaign against Islamic State. But it seems that you, like your predecessors Blair and Brown, are just as arrogant and foolish," the man continued.

He also called the British leader an "imbecile."

"Only an imbecile would dare to wage war against a land where the law of Allah reigns supreme and where the people live under the justice and security of the sharia. Only an imbecile would dare to anger a people who love death the way you love your life."

"You will lose this war as you lost in Iraq and Afghanistan," he said.

Meanwhile, Cameron's spokesman said the video was a "propaganda tool." He added that they are currently examining the content of the ten-minute video.

"We are examining the content of the video and are being kept informed," the spokesman said, as reported by Yahoo! News Monday. "It serves as a reminder of the barbarity of Daesh and what the world faces with these terrorists."

He went on, "It's also clear it is propaganda and should be treated as such. This is a propaganda tool and not all IS propaganda in the past has been true."

The online video also featured a young boy who reportedly said, "We will kill kuffar (non-believers) over there."
