Nintendo NX 2016: Latest Patents Reveal More Details For Serious Gamers

There have been very few reports for the new Nintendo NX 2016 that can actually confirm the real specifications and new features of the new console to be launched by the King of Gaming, Nintendo.

However, some of the latest patents filed on behalf of the company reveal some actual features that may come as a pleasant surprise to serious gamers.

In a latest patent filed by the company for the new design, it reveals that the new Nintendo NX 2016 will not come equipped with any CD port. This comes as a big revelation meaning that the new games will either have to be loaded via cartridge port, USB or downloaded via the interent, said N4BB.com.

In yet another patent filed earlier reveals the design of the controller in the new Nintendo NX 2016 console. The patent filed in August last year revealed that the controller may have a screen on it aping something like the one on Wii U.

However, the latest grapevine suggests that the the controller is a giant touch screen without any buttons on the front at all, which may resemble like gaming on a smartphone as there will be no buttons or joystick to play with.

These two patents are the only actual news available that have hold some grain to the truth. So far, in the latest newsletter sent by Nintendo's president Tatsumi Kimishima addressed to its shareholders that that the new Nintendo NX 2016 console will not resemble Wii or Wii U, N4BB.com reported.

Reportedly, Kimishima stated that Nintendo is "currently developing a gaming platform codenamed 'NX' with a brand new concept."

Any further official comments from the company are still missing, said Youth Health Mag.

On the other hand, hardcore game-analysts predict that the company may not launch the new Nintendo NX 2016 this year at all.

"The NX won't come out in 2016. Nintendo has a history of announcing consoles in one year and launching the next and I don't see the NX as deviating from that pattern," Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities claimed.

The opinion was echoed by another gaming analyst, David Cole of DFC Intelligence, said Youth Health Mag.
