'Gears Of War 4' New Characters And Release Date Revealed? Game Limited For Xbox One?

The Coalition developed "Gears of War 4" and was speculated to release two characters instead of the usual four soldiers from the previous franchise anytime this year.

Such move aims to give their fans a more exciting gameplay that will focus on the logic and strength, particularly on how to battle against their enemies even if they're outnumbered.

The game's category belonged to a third-party shooter type, which was set in the future where the humanity is fighting against reptilian beasts called Locust Horde. These creatures were defeated and wiped out from existing from the previous franchise's end events, according to Crossmap.

However, "Gears of War 4" developers were silent about any updates or rumors on whether the Locust Horde had managed to survive or not.

Manwhile, fans speculated that this time the game's focal point will be on the new additional characters. The company is set to introduce two young soldiers to appear in the game, a male character named JD and a female one named Kait.

While the game's release date was reported to be in 2016, retailer stores have already put up "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" deal for sale in a price of $15 at Newegg.

A promo code of EMCKNPK52 was also posted for it that will be available for Xbox One owners. Amazon also sells the game for $25.64 while on Best Buy and GameStop, it costs $30, according to Gamespot.

Microsoft distributed, "Gears of War 4" game was part of 2015's lineup at Gamescom in Koln, Germany. Studio head of The Coalition,  Rod Fergusson said in an interview with IGN that, "We're going back to something personal, intimate, dark, and mysterious, being afraid of the boogeyman," according to Vine Report.

"Today, people want a lot of grey, a lot moral ambiguity, things that are open to interpretation about what's right and wrong. Rather than follow those games, I'd rather lead by being true to what makes Gears Gears. That's why we're going back to co-op, the two of you sharing that experience. It's awesome," Fergusson added.

Fans and players will be able to get a hold of the game as the speculated release date will be on the holidays of 2016.

It was reported that "Gears of War 4" will be the first original game exclusively published for Xbox One.
