The adventure anime movie, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" is all set to make its appearance for the first time on television, according to Anime News Network.

Hero TV, popular Philippine television channel will broadcast the super hit anime movie this January. The channel recently aired a commercial on Wednesday to confirm the telecast of the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" anime film.

The channel earlier announced that the movie has been included in the line up for their fourth quarter financial year.

Deadline reported that the Dragon Ball franchise released "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" as the 19th film of the series in June 2015. The movie is actually a continuation of the earlier Dragon Ball movie titled "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods."

The storyline of the film is based on the manga series created by Akira Toriyama. The film showcased a fierce battle between Frieza and Goku with each of them transforming into their supernatural forms to defeat the other.

Super Hero Hype reported that the movie also used a limited event-style release strategy as a part of promotional activities.

The theaters showcased a special 15-minute "Dragon Ball Z" themed show before the start of the movie, so as to set the mood of the audience and introduce them to the characters of the film.

This strategy paid off very well for FUNimation Films, as the movie collected around $1.97 million at the box office.

Michael DuBoise, the Chief Operating Officer of FUNimation said that the new strategy provided a pleasant experience for all the fans of the movie.

"We are thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive fan response to the movie," said Michael, reported PR News Wire.

Hero TV will air the movie, "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F" on Jan. 10 at 8 p.m.
