Microsoft fanboys and hardcore gamers alike were elated when they heard the announcement of Microsofts' Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program, which has promised its loyal consumers a ton of games to benefit from this feature, according to sources.

The widely acclaimed gaming console Xbox One with its Backwards Compatibility program has recently released the first batch of Xbox 360 games, as stated by the Vine Report.

The Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program manages the gaming console to emulate the operating system of its predecessor the Xbox 360, which allows the latter's games to run on the Xbox one without any special coding or workarounds, as reported by the Inquisitr.

Xbox Global Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg commented on the benefits of the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program on bringing back some of the iconic Xbox 360 games to the Xbox One, courtesy of Gamespot.

"That the beauty of this whole program is that there's a whole new list we all have of the great games we loved and played on Xbox 360 and can't wait to go play again," Aaron Greenberg stated, according to Vine Report.

"There's probably a list of great games that we didn't play that we were like, 'Man, I'd love to be able to go back and play those titles' And so backwards compatibility enables so much of that to come to Xbox One and integrate it into the service and be able to jump right from your Xbox One dash right into those titles is a pretty magical experience folks," the Global Marketing Head added.

However, tech giant Microsoft was reported to be struggling when it comes to adding the Achievements feature in its Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program and the games listed in it, as stated by Attack of the Fanboy.

"As you said, we'd need to try to figure out achievements I think, not easy to do that," Microsoft Phil Spencer posted via Twitter as he addressed a question by a fan, courtesy of the source.
