Gaming fans and tech-gear aficionados alike were dismayed about the news that HTC Vive's release date was pushed further, but were equally delighted as well to hear that it was because consumers will get a better version of the hardware as details were leaked and announcements were made, according to sources.

Folks and consumers of the latest technological gears were disappointed that to hear when it was announced that the HTC Vive release date was pushed further to April 2016, as stated by Engadget.

However, it wasn't for no reason at all after announcements were made that would-be consumers of the HTC Vive will get a better version of it when it reaches its release date next year, as developers made major announcements regarding "a very, very big technological breakthrough," with its virtual reality system, as reported by the source.

"We shouldn't make our users swap their systems later just so we could meet the December shipping date," CEO Cher Wang stated, courtesy of the source.

It was revealed that HTC Vive's announcement of its new release date had something to do with leaked details showing off a more polished design of the VR headset, as stated by Android Headlines.

As images were discovered on Reddit, leaked details of the HTC Vive showed that the revision made by HTC and Valve had a slightly updated design-most of the noticeable changes made were that the virtual reality headset now have smaller dimples on its front, its head-tracking camera has been moved to the bottom of the headset instead of it being dead-on the center, and that designs for the controllers were more refined, according to the source.

It was reported that these 'major breakthroughs' regarding HTC and Valve's much anticipated VR headset will be announced along with plans to demonstrate the improvement at CES 2016 just before the expected HTC Vive release date, as stated by Tech Radar
