Fans of the widely acclaimed 2011 erotic romance novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey, written by British novelist E.L. James were delighted to find out about the franchise's second volume, "Fifty Shades Darker", the spoilers and rumors surrounding it, and news regarding its movie sequel and the cast to portray its characters, as stated by sources.

Recent news about the franchise hinted on a few spoilers and rumors about the anticipated 'Fifty Shades Darker' movie. Producers of the movie sequel have announced that Henry Cavill (from "Man of Steel" and "The Tudors") was casted as Jack Hyde, who comes off as Anastasia Steele's (as portrayed by Dakota Johnson) boss that will threaten Christian Grey and the latter's relationship in a love-triangle, according to Yibada.

As fans of the novel would recall, Christian Grey offered Anastasia Steele a job offer over at a small publishing firm managed by Jack Hyde., who turns out be psychopath who incessantly sexually harasses her and to the point of blackmailing his new personal assistant into sleeping with him.

When Christian Grey found out about how Jack Hyde was making those advances on Anastasia Steele, he warns Hyde to keep away from her, wherein he ultimately decides to assure this does not happen by buying out Hyde's smaller publication firm and putting him off business.

With "Fifty Shades Darker," rumors of spoilers circulated that writers intended to have Hyde interfere with Steele and Grey's relationship and were planning to make the movie sequel more of a thriller than what fans were accustomed with, in order for them to capture a larger male audience, as stated by The Stir Cafe Mom.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Sam Taylor-Johnson officially announced that the film-maker will not return to direct the movie sequel "Fifty Shades Darker," as stated by Cinemablend.

However, rumors spread that "House of Cards" director, James Foley, was picked to take over the helm of directing "Fifty Shades Darker," wherein fans of the franchise started to doubt the success of the sequel having a male director, according to Realty Today.

Moreover, rumors and spoilers to the sequel's cast pondered that Ian Somerhalder may get a chance to play a major role in the franchise, and Theo James to be picked to play Grey's antagonistic counterpart, as reported by the Latino Post
