It is well known to most gaming fans that Twitch TV and YouTube Gaming had been dominating the video game broadcasting scene for quite some time now with the exception of Azubu TV, which plans to bolster its ESports platform to compete with the former two, as stated by sources.

In terms of the video-game live-streaming market, Amazon-owned Twitch TV leads the pack, while Google's YouTube has raised its bar by launching its YouTube Gaming that focused more on gaming content, according to Fortune.

However, there are also a multitude of smaller companies and startup companies that are competing in the market, such as Hitbox, DingIt, and Los Angeles-based startup company Azubu who recently just raised $59.8 million in funds provided and led by London-based Sapinda Group, as stated by the source.

In the previous year, Sapinda Group, a private investment firm, has placed a whopping $34.5 million in euquity capital for the new re-launch of the Azubu TV ESports initiative, as reported by Cinemablend.

"Clearly there are two big fishes attempting to dominate this pond in Twitch and YouTube, but what we're doing is focusing solely on ESports live-streaming and the ESports ecosystem," Azubu CEO Ian Sharpe said, courtesy of Fortune.

"ESports deserves a premier broadcast platform which respects the global nature of ESports, " a Sapinda spokesperson said, according to Daily Dot.

"Azubu has the leadership, vision, partnerships, and technology to radically elevate the ESports viewing experience," the spokesperson added.

As such, recent developments of the company has become apparent as well, such as it being supported in XSplit Broadcaster 2.0 (one of the many live streaming and recording softwares known to gamers), as announced by the company, XSplit.

Moreover, it has also announced that the startup company's rebuilt 3.0 platform has officialy been launched as it transitions to Azubu.tv, as stated by Gamasutra
