Antonio Banderas And Melanie Griffith Divorce Official; Ex-Couple Will Still 'See Each Other'?

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith were officially divorced and the papers was filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The couple officially made the announcement in June 2014 saying, "We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty years marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together," according to Los Angeles Times.

The "The Mask of Zorro" actor agreed to pay his ex-wife $65,000 every month for spousal support including their home in Aspen and one of Picasso's painting. The other will have an artwork of Diego Rivera, Picasso's pencil drawing as well as they're gonna share the earnings from selling their house in L.A, according to TMZ

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith was reported that they separately kept their earnings since 1996 up to 2004. They first met during the time when the actor was married with Ana Leza while "Working Girl" actress was divorcing her husband, Don Johnson. The couple has a 19-year-old daughter named, Stella, according to Daily Mail.

A legal document was made after 2004, where the couple created an agreement that they will have equal shares from their entertainment projects between January of the same year until May 31, 2014. However, there was an exception, Antonio Banderas could keep his earnings from movie  "The Mask of Zorro" and same will happen to Melanie Griffith's money from "Stuart Little 2."

She will also be able to keep her jewelries, clothes, other furnitures, six cars while the "The Mask of Zorro" actor will have his electronics, music stuff and motorcycles.

After the ex-couple separated ways, the "Expendables 3" actor started dating Nicole Kempel and despite of their divorce, the actor said "We're going to keep seeing each other," reported by People Magazine. "We will continue. The family isn't dead, not at all," he added.

The now officially divorced couple reunited in June on their daughter's graduation day, which Stella shared a family photo of them in Instagram.
