Morgan Freeman's plane crashed into Mississippi's runway on Saturday after an unexpected technical accident.

The plane's tires blew out after its take off destined to Houston, Texas, which required an emergency landing. Morgan Freeman's attorney, William Luckett said, "Its tires ruptured after takeoff, forcing it to land at Tunica Airport in Mississippi," reported CNN.

The plane's model was identified as an SJ30 jet, which was controlled by Pilot Jimmy Hobson, who avoided the plane to crash that boarded the 78-year-old actor inside, according to BBC News.

The plane is designed as a lightweight business aircraft as described by SyberJet Aircraft company.

Oscar award winning actor, Morgan Freeman's private plane safely crash landed in Clarksdale, Mississippi, which is 40 miles away from where they took off and was supposed to land in Texas where the actor will film the movie "The Story of God."

Morgan's publicist released a statement from the him saying, "Sometimes things don't go as planned and a tire blew on takeoff, which caused other problems," according to ABC News. "I appreciate the concern and prayers for our safety," he added.

He didn't say any statement with regard to his plane's current condition however, another plane arrived and picked him up from Tunica, according to the mayor. Chief Deputy Officer Randy Stewart said that the plane went off the runway and confirmed that the actor didn't acquire any injuries during the crash.

An inspector will be sent to investigate the incident on Sunday while there were no additional information was given about the plane's landing. There were two people inside the plane including Morgan Freeman.  

Morgan Freeman is known for his movies such as "The Shawshank Redemption,"  "Invictus," "Seven," and ''Driving Miss Daisy." He was nominated for Academy Awards five times and earned an Oscar for his supporting role in the movie "Million Dollar Baby" in 2004.
