BLACKPINK's Song 'SHUT DOWN' Reaches 400 Million Stream Milestone on Spotify

It was recently reported that the BLACKPINK song SHUT DOWN has reached more than 400 million streams on Spotify. 

This is officially the 10th song of BLACKPINK to reach this milestone, making them the only group in history to have 10 songs to exceed these numbers.

BLACKPINK is a popular South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of four members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. They quickly rose to fame with their catchy music, impressive dance moves, and striking visuals.

The group's debut single "Whistle" topped the charts in Korea, and their second single "Boombayah" became the most viewed debut music video on YouTube at the time. Since then, BLACKPINK has released multiple hit songs, including "Kill This Love," "How You Like That," and "DDU-DU DDU-DU."BLACKPINK's music is known for blending different genres, including pop, hip-hop, and EDM.

BLACKPINK has also made appearances on variety shows and collaborated with other artists, including Lady Gaga and Dua Lipa. They have won numerous awards, including multiple MTV Music Video Awards and the Best Song of the Year award at the Korean Music Awards.
