Red Velvet Member Joy To Cancel Appearances in Upcoming Concert Tours Due to Health Issues
SM Entertainment recently released an announcement on Wednesday, April 26 that Red Velvet member Joy will no longer participate in upcoming concert tours and will be taking an indefinite hiatus due to health issues. The company said the hiatus is needed for her to fully recover as advised by her doctors.
Joy will no longer be present in the upcoming scheduled concert tours in Japan, Philippines, Bangkok, and Jakarta on May 3,4,7,13,14, and 20 respectively. The other four members of Red Velvet are confirmed to still participate in these tours.
Red Velvet is a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2014 under the management of SM Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.
