Taeyang’s ‘VIBE’ Tops Worldwide iTunes Charts After Release

Taeyang's comeback song "VIBE" has officially topped worldwide iTunes charts shortly after its global release.

The song immediately debuted at No. 1 both on global and European charts. Which means the song has reached No. 1 in 82 countries such as  Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nepal, the Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, UAE, the United States, and more.

Big Bang member and K-pop solo artist Taeyang finally made a comeback as a new music video for his song Vibe was uploaded recently. The said music video also features BTS member Jimin.

The song is a perfect mix of hyped percussion together with some smooth notes of R&B that go well with the voices of these two notable personalities of K-pop today.

Taeyang officially made his debut in the K-pop music scene in 2006 as a member of the boy band Big Bang. He pursued a solo career in 2008 releasing his first EP titled Hot which was well-praised by critics and fans. It won the award for Best R&B & Soul Album during the 6th Korean Music Awards.
