‘D-2’ Album By BTS Member Suga Is The Most-Streamed Album By A Korean Solo Artist On Spotify
One of the members of BTS hit a milestone in his solo career as it was recently reported that the album of "D-2" by member Suga is currently the most-streamed album by a Korean solo artist on Spotify.
The album has streamed more than 300 million times on the popular music platform. The album was released in May 2020, and it has achieved this massive number of streams. Just days ago, fans also reported that the music video "Deachwita" by Agust D (stage name of Suga) had reached 10 million likes on the video platform YouTube. The video has also gained more than 200 million views as of press time.
Upon releasing the mixtape, "D-2", Suga has become the first Korean solo artist to chart in the US Billboard Hot100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously. With the BTS ARMY and Suga stans in large numbers, helping Suga reach these achievements is highly possible.
It was announced by BigHit Music last April that the K-pop group BTS is finally returning soon in May with a new digital single, "Butter." The comeback is scheduled for May 21, 2021, at 13:00 Korea Standard Time or 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time.
BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan debuted in 2010 under the South Korean record label HYBE (formally Big Hit Entertainment.) The group members are the following: Jimin, SUGA, RM, Jin, Jung Kook, V, and J-Hope. The group previously teased their comeback.
It was reported that BTS were spotted filming for what appeared to be an upcoming project. In a forum community post, pictures of the popular K-pop boy group are seen wearing pastel-colored outfits in an outdoor shoot. They were accompanied by staff members that were in the area.
Fans previously claimed that this could be a shoot for a new music video of one of their upcoming songs or a different version of their hit music video, "Dynamite," basing on the colors of the outfits that they were wearing.
