Smart Communications Collaborates With BTS For Its Latest Ad

The mega telecommunications company released its "Live Your Passion with Purpose" campaign on Thursday, April 22, presenting the worldwide phenomenal K-Pop group, BTS. The ad likewise features two of the favorite South Korean male group's blockbuster hits, "Dynamite" and "Life Goes On."

The TV commercial was shot in Seoul, Korea. The said two songs are part of their BE album, which surpasses records in the global music scene. "Dynamite" is BTS's first single written and sung in English. 

BTS members include Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope, and RM. They are one of the many celebrated K-Pop stars of today. The all-male Korean group debuted in 2013 and since then made their group stand out from the rest, surpassing other music artists internationally. Their world tours sell out immediately and have established a global fandom called ARMY.

The negotiation between BTS and Smart Telecommunications was initially confirmed and was the company's first with the K-Pop group. 

According to SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart, Jane Basas, "BTS won over the hearts of millions all over the world not just with their talent, but also with their messages of hope and inspiration. On behalf of Smart, we are very honored to have this partnership with BTS that encourages the Filipino youth to keep their faith and continue pursuing their passion and purpose no matter the challenges the lie ahead."

The group's passion and purpose are to make music and perform across the globe. However, staying in South Korea for more than a year made them enthusiastic about better times. While shooting, the group can't help but reminisce about the good times when they held their first concert in the Philippines in 2014.

The seven-member group longs for the shouts and cheers of their ARMY Filipino fans in the said country and reunites with them. RM narrated how the group frequently pay the country a visit for their tours.
