"Shaken" and "really uncomfortable" -- this was how Dua Lipa described her feeling after screaming fans attacked her while in her fashion photo shoot in Mexico City.

In video footage shared over the Internet, the "Levitating" singer was on her way to her carpool, she even waved her hands to greet the onlookers and the fans, but there were fans who approached her, attacking her, and she came in what appeared to be a "boxing" scene.

Dua Lipa's security team came to the rescue, dragged them away from the pop star, letting her escape to the car. It is normal for fans to gather around celebrities even when they are in foreign places, but this situation was unusual.

Those around the vicinity captured the event on video, which happened over the weekend. People were keen to catch sight of Dua Lipa since she visited Mexico for her fashion photoshoot for luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.

"Dua Lipa looked really uncomfortable. Thankfully, security was there to drag the people away because who knows what could have happened," sources said. "It turned nasty when two fans rushed up to her. They really ran at her and it looked scary."

The singer released no official statement regarding the incident, except for her quote on what she feels about her new campaign.

She posted on her official Instagram, "So happy to be back on set for the new Libre campaign with my @yslbeauty team."

In other news about the singer, Dua Lipa and younger brother to Bella and Gigi Hadid, and model Anwar Hadid are seen headed out for their date night at the famous Nobu restaurant on Sunday, taking their seat at the oceanside view in Malibu. They have been reported together for over a year and a half.

They were spotted moments after they left the restaurant and on the way to the valet to retrieve their car.
