The 63rd Grammy Awards was welcomed with so much cheer at the same time, disappointment. Aside from the significant highlight that the K-Pop group BTS did not win at least one Grammy from the said awarding event, many have diverted their attention for a bit to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's performance of the song "WAP."

While some people find the performance something out of the ordinary, some netizens commented in an online community saying that the performance wasn't to their liking. Some commented that it was "chaotic and messy," while others preferred this version to the music video version released last year. One of the comments said that the performance was just too sexual to be performed live.

Some have also commented in regards to their fashion and appearance. One netizen said that Cardi Bi should get shorter hair.

The Grammy Awards and other related music awarding events like MTV's Video Music Awards are no stranger to these kinds of performances. These are all for entertainment's sake, after all, and it is also one night when all artists come together to celebrate the talented music artists and have a good time. Concerning "overly sexual" performances, Miley Cyrus' performance with Robin Thicke during the 2013 Video Music Awards was welcomed with mixed criticism. It was also a massive shock to Miley's fans as this was one of the major events where she showed her new adult image to the public.

The 63rd Grammy Awards happened on March 14, 2021, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The nominations for this year's Grammy's were revealed via a virtual live-stream event on November 24, 2020. South African comedian Trevor Noah hosts Grammys this year.

The event was initially scheduled for January 31, 2021, but was pushed the event on a later date due to the spike of COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles.
