Girls' Generation member YoonA attended the 40th Golden Film Festival on March 11, 2021, and won the Popularity Award for the film "Exit."

YoonA was seen wearing a sleek black suit during the event, and this radiated her chic look completely. Although a comeback for her K-pop group Girls' Generation (or SNSD) is still no announced, she continues to build her film career as a versatile actress.

Many moviegoers and critics have praised YoonA for her charming portrayal of the main protagonist for "Exit." The film was able to record around 9.4 million viewers when the movie was released.

YoonA expressed that the award is very meaning and pleasant to her to receive as the filming directors gave it. She then said she would continue to do her best to meet her directions and fans' expectations through her various film portrayals in the future. She also said her most profound thanks to the cast and film crew of "Exit."

While the filming and screening of "Exit" are now wrapped up, YoonA is confirmed to be in the films "Confidential Assignment 2: International" and "Miracle."

"Exit" is a 2019 disaster action comedy film directed by Lee Sang-Geun. Aside from YoonA, the film also stars Jo Jung-suk.

YoonA made her debut in K-pop in 2007 under the group Girls' Generation. She is also the members of the group's subgroup called Girls' Generation-Oh!GG.

Although being part of Girls Generation was the major boost of her career, her passion for being on the film began the same year she debuted in the group. Her first drama appearance was when she played a minor role in the 2007 series "Two Outs in the Ninth Inning." This then followed with an appearance in the 2008 series "Woman of Matchless Beauty."

Fans are looking forward to YoonA's upcoming film roles and hopefully a possible comeback for Girls' Generation.
