BTS speaks up on GRAMMY nomination

The popular Korean boy group called BTS did not hesitate to acknowledge its millions of supporters after scoring a nomination at the GRAMMY Awards 2021.

During their interview with USA TODAY, the members of the said boy band expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their fans called "ARMY" for the recognition that they continue to receive.

Jimin told Social Media Editor Fatima-Tul Farha that it was a surreal feeling to be given a nomination from one of the most prestigious music award-giving bodies in the world.

It can be remembered from our previous report that BTS is nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award for their hit entitled "Dynamite."

"We're really excited... But we do know that this is a great honor and we're deeply thankful, Jimin stated.

"We're trying our best to deliver a great performance to return all the support we received from our fans," he added.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was asked by the interviewer about what he thinks led the well-known group to the top of the music industry.

He and Suga both agreed that their milestones would not be possible if not because of the people who continue to support them all the time.

"Of course, it's ARMY," Jungkook quipped.

"Would any of this have been possible without ARMY?" Suga also mentioned.

At the latter part of the interview, RM aired a heartwarming message for their fans. He said that with all the recognition that the group has received, they consider their ARMY as their best luck.

"There are so many blessings we could've gotten for these eight years, but I guess for the whole journey the best luck we ever had is that we all have you guys all over the world. So please don't forget that, whether we get the Grammys or not, we already got what we wanted, and we got you, so that means we got everything," he said.

BTS is now preparing for their much-awaited performance at Grammy Awards on March 14. They will be "setting the night alight" with their performance of "Dynamite."
