Fans of BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim poured outrage on social media after the report of South Korean celebrity news media Dispatch revealed that K-pop stars G-Dragon and Jennie Kim are dating.

According to the Korean media outlet, Jennie and G-Dragon have been dating for a year now.

Dispatch published an exclusive photo on February 24th showing the alleged affair of the two artists.

It said the relationship between the two is an open secret within YG Entertainment. Jennie's manager would bring her to G-Dragon's house, the report added. Sometimes, it's the manager of G-Dragon.

"A lot of people in YG are also aware of their relationship," a close friend of the two told Dispatch.

"We can not confirm anything about out artists' personal lives. We ask for your understanding," YG Entertainment responds to the Dispatch report.

The news did not sit well with the supporters and #ProtectJenniesPrivacy trends on Twitter worldwide.

"With the news of involving both of your artists was revealed by Dispatch on February 24th, we feel that your action regarding this was lacking," BLACKPINK Jennie's fans wrote in an open letter to YG Entertainment. "While it is understood that the privacy should be given to them and that their personal matters is for them to disclose, your silence is very much propagating massive hate, especially towards Jennie."

The fan open letter said that Jennie had been stalked by several men for almost three years now in their desire to scoop about her.

"They have been following here so closely to the point of knowing exactly what her daily routine is as soon as she leaves home," stated in the open letter.

"i hope people starts to realize and accept the fact that idols ARE HUMANS TOO! they're allowed to have feelings and emotions. they're not robot. STOP BULLYING JENNIE! YGE TAKE ACTION #ProtectJenniesPrivacy," @lovemongallery twitted.

"Jennie doesn't deserve to be stalked for years then get hate for no reason. She does nothing wrong but always gets targeted and hated on. Protect her #ProtectJenniesPrivacy," Twitter handle @wjeking stressed on the issue.

"we'll stay and protect you no matter what until the end. we will get through this okay? YGE TAKE ACTION #ProtectJenniesPrivacy," @prettylisavage said.

Both Jennie and G-Dragon have no words on the issue yet.
