BTS And Japanese Rock Band 'back number' Collaborated For Movie Theme Song 'Film Out'!

BTS and Japanese rock band "back number" have revealed that they have collaborated with one another in creating "Film Out," a theme song for the upcoming Japanese film "Signal."

This is the first time that Korean k-pop idols BTS and back number are working together. The snippet of the unreleased song has already been used in the trailer of "Signal," and fans of the two bands are going wild over the partnership.

"Signal" starring Kentar Sakaguchi will be released this coming April 2. It is believed that the full single will be released leading to the movie's premiere or on the same day.

The movie "Signal" is an adaptation of the 2018 Korean serial drama with the same title. The series was picked up by a major production company and was made into a movie. BTS also wrote the theme song "Don't Leave Me" for the Korean film adaptation.

The film is described to be intense suspense and follows the life of a detective who is trying to unravel an unsolved case while communicating with a detective who lived in the past with a mysterious radio.

Upon hearing the news that the popular movie will be recreated for the Japanese audience, BTS offered to make the theme song once again.

According to sources, BTS and back number met on a music program where the two bands bonded, which in turn led BTS to ask back number to collaborate with them.

"Film Out" is a slow ballad with a lot of emotion and delivers a message about missing a person. During the production of the single, Jungkook of BTS shares that he was inspired to write "Film Out" by a melody line crafted by back number.

The proposed new melody and lyrics for the movie's theme song was completed with BTS and back number working hand-in-hand.
