Super Bowl LV: The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus To Perform At The Halftime Show
The teams for the Super Bowl LV, the NFL's biggest event, are now set. However, at the halftime show on February 7th, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to take a backseat to give way to The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, and more celebrities performing at the halftime show.
The Kansas City Chiefs will battle it out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the NFL event that will be broadcast for the benefit of 7,500 vaccinated health care workers attending the show.
Many are also anticipating the grand 2021 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring several popular artists performing in the backdrop of illustrious sets and special effects.
The Weeknd, Eric Church, Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., Warren "WAWA" Snipe, and Miley Cyrus are officially confirmed to perform at the halftime show of the NFL event to be dubbed the Super Bowl LV.
Pepsi's vice-president of marketing Todd Kaplan said, "The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the most anticipated performances of the year and we are thrilled to welcome The Weeknd to the stage."
Pepsi also has a YouTube teaser of the halftime performance, where the viewers can scan their Pepsi to unlock exclusive content at Super Bowl LV and experience the show live they have never before.
The Weeknd will join the ranks of other artists who have previously been featured at the Super Bowl halftime shows, including Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Beyoncé, among many others.
Meanwhile, country singer Eric Church will join forces with Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Jazmine Sullivan to sing "Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of the game. "America the Beautiful" will be performed by two-time Grammy winner H.E.R. Snipe is interpreting the singing with sign language.
On the other hand, Miley Cyrus will perform at the NFL TikTok Tailgate pregame show dedicated to health workers in Tampa and around the country.
