Song Hye Kyo is set to make a comeback to the small screens through her upcoming new series called The Glory. Should things push through it would be the actress' second project with Kim Eun Sook, who was also the writer of the 2016 drama series titled Descendants of the Sun, which also featured her former husband, Song Joong Ki.

Reports have it that Song Hye Kyo would start filming again in the second half of the year. Director Anh Gil Ho, who previously directed hit series like Memories Of The Alhambra and Record Of Youth, would be at the helm.

For starters, The Glory centers on the story of a woman who dreamed of becoming an architect during her younger days. However, the character of Song Hye Kyo was forced to quit school since her classmates continuously bully her.

Years passed and one of her adversaries got married and bore a child. Interestingly, Song Hye Kyo's character ended up as the kid's teacher. After learning about the child's background, she, then, plotted a revenge to everyone who hurt her in the past.

The Glory, if things push through, would be the first drama series of Song Hye Kyo since she starred in the 2018 hit drama series titled Encounter. The imminent television series is said to have a total of eight episodes for its first season and Hwa & Dam Pictures, which is the production company behind the series, is said to be planning multiple installments.

Aside from Song Hye Kyo, no other details about the cast have been made public up to this writing. No official release date for The Glory has been announced as well. So, avid followers of the South Korean actress should patiently wait for the details.
