Train Like A Real Marvel Superhero In This New Attraction At Disneyland Resort
Even your favorite Avengers superheroes are training in their own academy to become the best they can be. Interestingly, the Disneyland California Adventure Park is taking inspiration from this, as there is a real Avengers Academy in the Marvel comics, as it launches the all-new "Avengers Campus" at Disneyland Resort this year.
The "Avengers Campus" is where visitors and Marvel enthusiasts can "team up with the Avengers -- explore a campus created for the next generation of superheroes," as what the official Disneyland website said about this new attraction.
Postponed opening
Last week, D23, the official Disney fan club, shared details about "Avengers Campus," confirming that it will officially open at Disneyland's California Adventure Park this 2021.
You can remember that this new attraction was originally scheduled to open in the summer of 2020, and there was even a media preview held last March. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted their administration to postpone its opening, as there are many Disneyland theme parks that likewise closed down in accordance with the health protocols.
However, D23 did not give the exact date of the opening of the "Avengers Campus" since both Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure Park have remained closed since March 2020. There are no details yet on its reopening date as of press time.
"Avengers Campus"
There are several things guests can do when they visit the "Avengers Campus" at Disneyland in Anaheim. There are powered-up attractions that include WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy -- Mission: BREAKOUT!, and more.
They can also immerse in Sanctum, where they can have a live encounter with the Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange. Or, they can get to see the food research chefs of Ant-Man and the Wasp at Pym Test Kitchen. Other attractions at the "Avengers Campus" include the Avengers Headquarters, The Collector's Warehouse, and so much more.
